Located in the Godavari River valley, a few miles outside of the City of Nashik, the agricultural site overlooks the Gangapur Baandh Sagar. Nashik is the most productive grape growing region in India and home to a variety of tech companies. The ‘Napa Valley’ of India provides an ideal setting for the project.

Nasik Site Analysis

Mixed use Scheme 1
Site plan alternative for mixed use resort, retail, restaurant and second home lots. Vineyards provide a unique identity and buffer between the more public mixed use zone and the more private home lots and apartment areas. Retail uses create an address along the main road. A central green becomes the village center.

Mixed Use Scheme 2
In a more rural and exclusive site planning approach the retail and resort properties are set within and surrounded by vineyards to create privacy and a more intensive vineyard experience. Second home lots with lake views are still within walking distance of the village center restaurants, and shopping.
